Lily-of-the-Valley belongs to the lily family of flowering plants. The plat is native to Europe, northern Asia and the mountain region of United States from Virginia to South Carolina. Traditionally, Lily-of-the-Valley is sold in the streets of France on May 1. It is the national flower of Finland. Besides, Lily-of-the-Valley is the official flower of many fraternities and sororities. All parts of Lily-of-the-Valley including berries are poisonous and can cause skin inflammation. Several species are used in the manufacture of medicines.
