Ginger is commonly used as a medicine for stomach ailments and cold. Ginger oil is used in medicines and perfumes. Young ginger rizhomes are juicy, fleshy and mild in tastes. It is often pickled in vinegar or sherry as a tasty snack. Ginger is used as the most favorite flavor in making tea beverage.
